Media coverage of Junior Football
Increased media coverage of Junior Football is being promised by a project that will hopefully result in a stand alone Scottish sports newspaper.
In the first instance, people should register an interest by either following www.twitter.com/scotsportspaper or emailing info@allmediascotland.com
The aim is a weekly, 36 page, paper purchsed by subscription and popping throught your letterbox.
But first, the project is seeking backing to produce a single, pilot issue - as proof of concept.
For that to happern, it will be requiring 10,000 backers from an online funding campaign, being launched on January 25 (that's one for the diary.)
So, a big exercise required in spreading the word.
Our understanding is that the paper - were it to be up and running - would be about showcasing upcoming matches and profiling the stories and personalities within them. In other words, positive and upbeat coverage.
