Banchory St Ternan reach milestone
Banchory net 1000th Junior goal
Ben McGregor's goal after 12 minutes at Maud last Saturday was a milestone for Banchory St Ternan as it was their 1000th goal in Junior football.
McGregor's goal in the 5-2 victory also virtually guarantees the Milton Park outfit’s top flight status for another season and it was their 462nd goal away from home.
The club started in Junior football back in 1993 and reached the 250th League goal in October 1998 at Colony Park against Inverurie Juniors.
The 500th came against Buchanhaven Hearts in December 2003 while the 750th also came against Buchanhaven back in March 2008 at Milton Park.
