Midweek Friendly Preview

Several clubs in the area continue to ramp up their pre-season programmes with six games this evening.

Arbroath Vics have had a couple of weeks without a game after starting early and they return to action this evening as Barnhill Amateurs travel to Ogilvy Park.

Carnoustie Panmure were 3-1 winners over Arbroath HSFP, just over a week ago and they welcome Dundee FC U18s to Laing Park. The Gowfers boss Phil McGuire should have an almost full squad available, the only absentee is Steven McPhee who is on holiday.

New Manager at East Shore Park, Tony McAuley sees his Newburgh side take on a Tayport side that showed no mercy against the Tayport Amateur side on Saturday, winning 14-0 while Burgh were drawing 1-1 at Forfar United.

Dundee Violet play their first game of their pre-season programme as they face Fintry Athletic at Glenesk Park while Dundee North End and Downfield meet at North End Park.

Brechin Vics up the ante a bit after four games against amateur sides as they take on North Region side Newmacher United at Brechin Community Campus
