Whitletts Vics signing & sponsorship news

Whitletts Victoria will be sporting new colours next season after signing a new sponsorship deal with construction and engineering giants QTS.

The new 4 figure will see the company’s name emblazoned on the Clubs new away kit this season which will also be a bespoke design in the company’s colours of orange, black and white.

Welcoming the deal, Whitletts Victoria Chairman John Dalton said that he was delighted that the Club were able to attract such a high quality partner.

“QTS are a major company throughout the UK and I am delighted that Whitletts Victoria are able to attract a partner of such quality to support the Club for the new campaign”
“The deal is one of the largest individual sponsorship deals in the history of the Club and I hope this is just the start of an exciting new relationship to the mutual benefit of both QTS and Whitletts Victoria”

Meanwhile the Club are launching their own 44 branded football and leisurewear this season with supporters being able to buy Whitletts Victoria tops and gear online via the Clubs’ website at

“We’re often asked by supporters where they can buy replica Whitletts Victoria shirts but until now we have been unable to provide them for general sale” said John “But with this new deal and launching our own 44 branded items supporters will soon be able to buy replica home and away strips and selected leisurewear via our own Club website with the profit from all the items sold going into the Club.”

Whitletts manager Rikki Ryland has started rebuilding his squad for the Clubs’ forthcoming league campaign.

Ryland may have lost the services of last seasons’ Player of the Year, Lee Holland who has hung up his boots while Martin Reynolds is looking to play amateur football next season due to his work commitments. Influential midfielder Ricky Hanvey and Alan Love have also stepped up to the Superleague with Kilwinning Rangers and Maybole respectively.

However the Vics boss has moved to secure the services of midfielder Chris Black from his former club Saltcoats, central defender Calum Hercus from Dalry and full back David Mathieson who latterly was with Lugar.

“All three are very talented young players” said Rikki. “Chris has had interest in him from senior clubs as well as Superleague outfits and I’m delighted that he has agreed to put pen to paper to continue his development with Whitletts.”
“Calum Hercus is also a player I know well. A young powerful central defender who is still learning his trade which he will do playing alongside the experience of Raymond Buchanan. While David Mathieson came in to the side as a trialist at the end of last season and was outstanding in our win over Kilwinning.”
And the Vics manager has confirmed that he will casting his eye over a number of other players during the clubs pre-season matches that start this weekend with a trip to play South of Scotland league side, Fleet Star.
