Canning joins Shotts
Former Queen’s Park, Brechin City and Albion Rovers midfielder Steven Canning has ended nearly 18 months out of the game by signing for junior side Shotts Bon Accord.
The 30 year old spent 8 years at Hampden before moving to Brechin City in 2008 where he stayed for 2 seasons before joining the Coatbridge side in 2010.
Canning advised last summer that he was retiring from the game to concentrate on work and his family however he has been coaxed back into the game by the Hannah Park side.
