ROSSVALE LOOK FOR KIT MAN

One of the most progressive clubs in Scotland, Bishopbriggs based Rossvale, who have 600 players, are looking for a club kit manager to help them for next season and beyond after Celtic inadvertantly caused their last one to leave.

The club are a victim of their own success as Club Chairperson, Ian Grey said : " Our last kit manager had a son with us and we developed him so well that he has now joined Celtic. His Dad has given up his job with us to watch him and that is why we have a vacancy."

"We have male and female teams all the way from fun fours to seven-a-sides to 11-a-sides at all age groups and then an amateur side and a junior team that we launched two years ago. There is obviously a lot of kit to be taken care of and we would love to hear from someone who thinks they can help."

SLOAN GOES JUNIOR AT BO'NESS

Midfielder Robert Sloan has ended 13 years in the senior ranks by signing for Bo'ness following his release from East Fife at the end of last season.

The 29 year old started his career at Hearts back in 2000 and, after a long spell at Alloa, Sloan left Tynecastle in 2005 and had spells at St Johnstone, Alloa again, and Raith Rovers before heading for New Bayview in November 2010.

Bo'ness boss, Allan McGonigal said : "I am delighted to bring a player of Robert's experience to our club."

FRIZE JOINS BEITH

Goalscoring midfielder, Paul Frize of Glasgow Perthshire has snubbed the chance to join Third Division Clyde and moved to Ayrshire to join Junior side Beith.

The 24 year old was targeted by the Bully Wee after an impressive season despite Perthshire's relegation from the Super League First Division. Clyde had looked to play Frize in a trial game, however he has opted for Beith after their manager, Johnny Millar, offered him a deal.

PLAYER AVAILABILITY : GERRY WARD

Left back, Gerry Ward, is looking to get back into football after resolving a family issue that was preventing him from playing on a Saturday afternoon.

The 29 year old former Blantyre Vics, Shettleston & St Rochs player had thought his playing days were coming to an end due to a family commitment, however the challenge has been overcome and Ward is looking to get back playing again.
