Sally nets for Pollok

Striker Scott Sally, who was released by Airdrie United last week after a disappointing start to the season, returned to the Excelsior Stadium earlier this week to score against Jimmy Boyle’s side in a friendly as a trialist.

Sally had only played just 11 minutes of this campaign due to injury and then a sending off against Partick Thistle last October netted for Pollok Juniors in a 5-3 win for the Diamonds on Monday night.

The 21 year old also recently netted for Queen’s Park reserves in a similar capacity, however he was not offered a deal at Hampden and is now waiting to hear if he has done enough to be signed by the junior side.

Brass joins Camelon

Striker Gary Brass, who was released last week by Third Division Stirling Albion, has signed for Junior side Camelon. The 20 year old who scored once in his two years at the Forthbank club has been welcomed back with open arms at Carmuirs Park after shining during a loan spell earlier in his career.
