Scott joins Rose

Goalkeeper David Scott, who was on the lookout for a new club last week after leaving Forfar, did not have to wait long to get fixed up as he has joined junior side Linlithgow Rose.

The 24 year old shot-stopper, who has also turned out for Albion Rovers and Brechin City, left Station Park after dropping down the pecking order when Darren Hill was signed from Arbroath and he asked to be released in order that he could play.

Scott said: “I am delighted to have got a club so quickly, especially such a big club in the juniors.”
