Ardeer Thistle Charity Match
Ardeer Thistle are hosting the Butterfly Club Challenge Trophy Match on Sunday 4th August 2013.
The feature of the day will be contested by a team of Glentoran Football Club legends against a Scottish Junior “Old Crocks” select, kicking off at 12.00pm. There will also be pre-match entertainment with kids 5-a-side games from 10:00am along with a tuck shop & face painting, etc.
The junior select will be managed by Derek Cook, assisted by John Garroch & Jim Allan. Lining up for the side will be a host of well-known names, including:

The Butterfly Club aims to provide a holiday club for the children of James MacFarlane and Haysholm special needs schools to reduce their isolation, improve their quality of life and to support them to be able to take part in activities other children take for granted. They are a constituted, non-profit making voluntary community group and a registered charity, formed by the parents of these schools.
