Culter’s McAllister interests Peterhead
Peterhead’s match-winner at Ibrox on Saturday, striker Rory McAllister could be joined at the Blue Toon next season by older brother Jamie. Balmoor boss Jim McInally admitted that he is interested in seeing whether the 29 year old Culter Juniors striker who has scored an incredible 70 goals this season could cut it at a higher level.
McInally said: “I have watched Jamie in action and he has a talent. He is quick, athletic and a good finisher and looks like someone who could make the step up to the SFL. Rory has signed a new contract with us and the two of them up front could be a very exciting duo.”
“He still has a lot of football to play this season and we have the play-offs to go through as well so it may be something we look at when we start preparing for next season.”

Elgin up and now looking for title
New Elgin have won promotion to the Superleague for the first time and know they are turning their attention to securing the First Division title.
A victory at Glentanar on Saturday would have been enough to ensure promotion however when Inverness City lost 3-1 to Forres Thistle the 1-1 draw at Woodside proved to be enough
Victory at Bridge of Don Thistle next Saturday will secure the First Division Championship for New Elgin.
