Auchinleck Talbot pulled level with Petershill at the summit of the Super League Premier Division with a 2-0 win at the home of defending champions Irvine Meadow.

McCann gave the visitors the lead just before half-time with a close range header and after McGowan of Meadow and Talbot’s White were dismissed Spence sealed the 3 points 4 minutes from full time.

Pollok won 2-1 at third placed Rob Roy with McArdle and Monti’s goals outdoing the Kirkintilloch side who netted through Meechan.

In the only other top Division game Glenafton defeated hosts Cumnock 1-0.         

In the Super League First Division promotion chasing Kello were stunned as they lost 4-0 at Kilsyth where Doyle hit a double and Kelly as well as Forsyth both netted.

A McLachlan goal handed Yoker a 1-0 win at Glasgow Perthshire.                                    

Neilston defeated Central District First Division second placed side St. Anthony's 3-1 with Essler scoring from the penalty spot with Adams and Canning adding further goals.

Smith netted a double as Shettleston defeated Carluke 2-0.                        

Cambuslang defeated Newmains 7-2 in the Central Second with Kilmartin notching a hat-trick and Dick a double.                                   

Lugar defeated runaway Ayrshire District leaders Kilwinning 3-1 with Stevenson scoring either side of a Cuthbertson penalty

In the New Coin Holdings West of Scotland Cup Round Two Reid hit home a treble as Beith knocked out Annbank 6-1 and Arthurlie progressed at Clydebank thanks to McGregor’s solitary goal.
Shotts saw off Kilbirnie Ladeside 4-3 on penalties after a 2-2 draw and Woods scored all three as Lanark United went down 3-0 to       Petershill
