Dufftown on the way back

Dufftown who have their Junior membership in abeyance at the moment have announced ambitious plans for their return at the start of next season.

Former Elgin City pair Steven Rattray and Fraser Bremner have been announced as Joint Managers of the Banffshire club, who announced back in July that they would be taking a year out of playing games after their management team and two Committee members left.
Bremner, who was a substitute when Rangers defeated his current club Forres Mechanics 1-0 in the Scottish Cup in September, will leave the Highland League Champions at the end of the season to take up his new role.
Dufftown President Alan Murray said, “The appointment of Fraser and Steven shows our desire to re-enter the junior game and be a successful club. This move puts the first major part of our rebuilding programme in place for the start of next season.”
