Vale of Clyde bring in five

Vale of Clyde have brought in four players from Senior clubs with one time Clyde youngster and Rangers target Conor Stevenson returning after a spell with Albion Rovers, Frank Kameni and Joel Kasubandt joining from Morton and Hashim Cole signing from St Mirren.

Arnault Bembo, who was with Threave Rovers last season has also joined the Glasgow club.

Rob Roy see off interest to land Morton and Urquhart

Kirkintilloch Rob Roy have made a double signing from the Senior ranks with former Airdrie and Montrose striker Scott Morton and Queen’s Park midfielder Alan Urquhart moving to Adamslie.

Both players were released by their clubs last summer and Rob Roy have beaten off competition from a number of junior sides for their signatures.

McStay heads for Meadow

Former Falkirk, Partick Thistle, Dumbarton, Albion Rovers and Ayr midfielder Ryan McStay has ended discussions over a move to Peterhead and signed for junior side Irvine Meadow.

The 27 year old had featured for the Blue Toon in pre-season following his release from the Honest Men however he has opted to sign for Irvine with McStay explaining his decision by saying: “I would have struggled to combine work with travelling to Peterhead so I have opted for Irvine Meadow.”
